The Intellectual Property Analyst will assist Angstrom Power’s Manager of Intellectual Property in the management Angstrom Power’s Intellectual Property portfolio. The IP Analyst will work with technical and business development leaders to ensure we maintain strong protection of our intellectual property, strong awareness of new developments and complete and accurate tracking of information flow into and out of Angstrom. This position will have a particular focus on interfacing with third parties including documentation and identification of arising IP and exchange of confidential information. This function extends to all aspects of Angstrom product technology including on-board fuel cell power sources for portable applications, portable refueling devices and larger scale infrastructure technologies for device refueling.

Responsibilities:

  • Documents and tracks interactions with partners related to confidential information and intellectual property, including managing flow of confidential information
  • Drafts invention disclosures and supporting Angstrom’s ongoing patent protection activities
  • Supports Angstrom licensing, Business Development and Strategic planning with relevant IP information and input.
  • Provides general program management support
 
 
Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated understanding of intellectual property protection issues.
  • Experience with patents and the patenting process, in particular with drafting of invention disclosures and interaction with external counsel.
  • Excellent understanding of technology and innovation.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in engineering or science.
  • Demonstrated understanding of research and joint development programmes.
  • Strong interdisciplinary skills with demonstrated ability to work as part of a team.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Fuel cell knowledge and experience preferred.
