Angstrom™ offers Micro Hydrogen™ device users hydrogen fueling solutions that are convenient, reliable and cost-effective. These solutions are tailored to the specific needs of both consumer and commercial applications, and include a combination of at-home desktop fueling appliances, portable hydrogen storage systems, and public and fleet fueling kiosks.
Angstrom™ is leading the development of three relevant safety standards that form an integral part of the regulatory approval requirements. Angstrom™ has already certified its fuel systems according to these regulations, which included requirements for fire, hydrogen cycling, leak, burst, and drop testing.
In November 2007, Micro Hydrogen™ systems were approved for both passenger cabin and cargo provisions by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), enabling global mobility of Micro Hydrogen™ devices. Angstrom™ has led the industry to achieve these approvals, which will permit consumers to carry safety-certified Micro Hydrogen™ devices with them on-board commercial aircraft, effective January 1, 2009.
