Bob Puette joins Angstrom Power Board of Directors

September 25th, 2007, Vancouver, British Columbia – Angstrom Power, Inc., a North Vancouver developer of micro fuel cell technology for hand-held electronics devices, announced today the appointment of Bob Puette to its Board of Directors.  The appointment is expected to bring Puette’s extensive management and company building experience to Angstrom at a time when the start-up is preparing to commercialize its Micro Hydrogen™ fuel cell technology and move into volume production.

Currently  Bob is President of Puette Capital Management and Chairman of the Board of Bentek Corp.,and Fat Spaniel Technology Corp. Puette has served on Cisco System’s Board of Directors, as President of Apple USA, CEO of Centigram Communications, and as Chairman and CEO of NetFrame Systems.  At Hewlett-Packard, he spearheaded marketing for the introduction of the Personal Computer.

"Micro fuel cells have just entered the consumer electronics products market and are likely to see large growth rates in the next five years," according to iRAP (Innovative Research and Products, Inc.), a market research firm based in Stamford, Connecticut. iRAP estimates the 2006 market to be about $12 million and will reach $112 million by 2011, at an annual average growth rate of 55.7 percent from 2006 to 2011.

Puette holds an M.S. in Operations Research from Stanford University, Palo Alto, Calif. and a B.S. in Engineering from Northwestern University, Evanston, Illinois.
