Angstrom Power Selected by AlwaysOn as a GoingGreen Top 100 Winner

North Vancouver, Canada, September 9th, 2008Angstrom Power, Inc., a developer of micro fuel cell technology for hand-held electronics devices today announced that it has been chosen by AlwaysOn as one of the GoingGreen Top 100 Winners.  Inclusion in the GoingGreen 100 signifies major developments in the creation of new business opportunities in the green technology industries. Angstrom Power was specially selected by the AlwaysOn editorial team and other industry experts spanning the globe, based on a set of five criteria: innovation, market potential, commercialization, stakeholder value, and media buzz.

“We are honored to be named to the 2008 GoingGreen 100 list,” said Paul Zimmerman, CEO of Angstrom Power.

 “In January, at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, we announced Angstrom’s integration of its Micro Hydrogen™ power platform into a MOTOSLVR L7 handset without any modifications to the phone’s external dimensions and completed a six-month trial of the handsets,” Zimmerman said.  “This first-of-its-kind integration of a fuel cell into mobile phones represents a significant milestone for fuel cell technologies.”  He noted that the GoingGreen 100 award is the second major recognition of Angstrom’s Micro Hydrogen™ technology this year. In June, Frost & Sullivan named Angstrom Power winner of its 2008 North American Technology Innovation of the Year Award in the field of micro fuel cells.
